Scott began his music career in Prince Edward Island and, like many of his Maritime brethren, moved to Calgary in 2001 to find work. Here, he immersed himself in the culture of Canada’s West which, in turn, immersed itself in the words of his songs.
He began performing in 2001 and has established himself as a musician and songwriter with a genuine, thoughtful, and distinct personality. Scott writes and performs songs for the common man who still upholds the traditional values of hard work, commitment, and honesty while coping with the curveballs thrown by the pace and change of modern life.
With influences such as Blue Rodeo and Bruce Springsteen, the honest sound and stories really hit home with those listening and singing along. His debut self-titled album received airplay and praise from around the globe, and he is here with his highly anticipated sophomore release ‘Old Soul’, calling on local gent Lorrie Matheson to produce the album.
